Founder & CEO

Dave is a passionate entrepreneur that likes to apply the scientific methods he learnt in dentistry to the social science of business. He contributes strategy and leadership thinking as the founder and CEO of Australia dental.

He is a tenured member of the entrepreneurs organisation Queensland chapter and takes an active role on the board of the non profit.

Besides his role as CEO & chairman Dave mentors other entrepreneurs in a wide variety of industries and teaches entrepreneurship internally to teammates of our organisation.

Dave has 2 daughters and enjoys CrossFit and surf boat rowing.

Chief Financial Officer

Karin van Vliet is a perfectionist systemiser. Karin migrated from the Netherlands to study her Masters in Business after completing Ecconomics as an undergrad. She fell in love with the Australian way of live and chose to become an Australian citizen.

With a rare ability to structure systems that are easy to comprehend and implement Karin has built out a unique architecture that the Australia Dental clinics and HQ operate on.

In her role as CFO Co-founder she continues to drive the business forward with detailed analysis and key insights.

In her spare time she cares for 2 young daughters and smashes weight training.

Business Development Manager

Dominique is our General Manager with over 10 years experience in the dental industry. Her main focus is clinic operations, and growth opportunities for the group, which includes providing further development pathways for our team dentists and staff. Dominique's role also involves major equipment purchases and project work ranging from minor renovations to complete clinic fit outs.

Outside of work Dominique enjoys spending time with her family, camping and brunching.

Finance & Admin Officer

Peta's is our Admin and Finance officer, problem solving is a passion of hers. Peta's role involves paying wages, helping out the clinics with all financial and administration hurdles that arise. Peta also prepares employment documents and writes system's to ensure the business can continue to grow.

Outside of Australia Dental HQ Peta enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering her children on at their weekend sports and hitting the gym.

Taylah De-Gaetano began her dental journey in 2019 as a trainee dental assistant and has since held various roles in the field. She joined the Australia Dental Group in 2021 at John Street Dental as a casual dental assistant. Through dedication, she advanced to Practice Manager at Australia Dental Clontarf, where she spent two years before transitioning to Australia Dental HQ.

Taylah now serves as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, supporting the group’s seven clinics.

In her personal life, Taylah enjoys quality time with her puppy and partner of five years. She loves camping, photography, and art, and when she's not working, you’ll find her baking, walking, or listening to a good podcast.
